Pemanfaatan Limbah Cangkang Telur Ayam sebagai Pupuk terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Stek Batang Lada (Piper nigrum L.) di Kabupaten Luwu Timur Desa Matompi

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemberian upuk cangkang telur ayam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit lada (Piper nigrum L.) yang distek batang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Matompi Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Stek batang lada dilakukan pada tanaman induk berumur dua tahun dan telah mengalami pemangkasan sebanyak dua kali. Stek batang lada ditempatkan pada polybag yang berisi tanah dari perkebunan lada. Perlakuan diberikan pada stek batang lada berusia 14 hari setelah tanam, yaitu dengan perlakuan P0 (tanpa pemberian cangkang telur), P1 (pemberian cangkang telur 300 gram), P2 (pemberian cangkang telur 400 gram), P3 (pemberian cangkang telur 500 gram), dan P4 (pemberian cangkang telur 600 gram). Pupuk cangkang diberikan setiap sekali dalam seminggu. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati adalah pertambahan lebar daun lada, Panjang daun lada, dan tinggi tanaman lada. Data yang diperoleh diuji analisis of varians dan apabila terdapat pengaruh dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian cangkang telur ayam sebagai pupuk berpengaruh terhadap Panjang daun dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap lebar dan tinggi tanaman. Perlakuan terbaik untuk pertambahan panjang daun lada adalah P1 dengan rata-rata pertambahan lebar daun 0,50 cm.
