Keanekaragaman Jenis Porifera Di Kawasan Budidaya Rumput Laut Perairan Pesisir Desa Lare-Lare Kecamatan Bua Kabupaten Luwu
Abstract
Pesisir Lare-Lare memiliki potensi keanekaragam hayati yang sangat besar terdapat berbagai komunitas flora dan fauna karang. Komunitas biota yang dapat ditemukan antara lain alga, bivalvia, ikan, kepiting, dan berbagai jenis porifera. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis dan indeks keanekaragaman porifera. Pengamatan dan pengambilan sampel porifera dilakukan di kawasan budidaya rumput laut perairan pesisir Desa Lare-lare, Kecamatan Bua, Kabupaten Luwu pada 3 (tiga) stasiun dengan jarak setiap stasiun ±20 m. Setiap stasiun terdiri dari 3 (tiga) transek garis dari pantai ke arah laut dengan ukuran panjang ±5 m. Identifikasi morfologi sampel porifera dengan menggunakan referensi buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang relevan. Indeks keanekaragaman ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus indeks Shannon-Wienner. Jenis spons yang ditemukan di kawasan budidaya rumput laut perairan pesisir Desa Lare-lare sebanyak 10 famili dan 11 spesies antara lain Aaptos sp., Niphates amorpha, Spongia sp., Stelletta sp., Mycale microsigmatosa, Mycale sp., Agelas sp., Clathria curacaoensis, Spirastrella sp., Axinella sp., dan Haliclona sp. Indeks keanekaragaman porifera diperoleh nilai 1,38 termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan kondisi lingkungan perairan yang masih sangat baik untuk mendukung kelangsungan hidup porifera.
