SKRINING FITOKIMIA EKSTRAK ETANOL KULIT BATANG KAYU JAWA (Lannea coromandelica)

Kulit batang kayu jawa (Lannea coromandelica) secara tradisional telah lama dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk mengobati luka, diare, dan peradangan, yang diduga berkaitan dengan kandungan metabolit sekundernya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi golongan senyawa metabolit sekunder (alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin) dalam ekstrak etanol kulit batang kayu jawa melalui uji skrining fitokimia. Sampel diekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96% selama 3 × 24 jam, kemudian filtrat yang diperoleh diuji secara kualitatif menggunakan metode uji warna (color test) mengacu pada Harborne (1987). Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol kulit batang kayu jawa positif mengandung flavonoid (++), saponin (+), dan tanin (+++), sedangkan alkaloid tidak terdeteksi (−). Kandungan tanin menunjukkan intensitas positif paling kuat, diikuti oleh flavonoid dan saponin. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kulit batang kayu jawa berpotensi sebagai sumber senyawa bioaktif alami yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam bidang farmasi maupun pangan fungsional.
