Uji Daya Hambat Sari Buah Dengen (Dillenia serrata) terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Escherichia coli

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat sari buah dengen (Dillenia serrata) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli dan konsentrasi sari buah dengen terbaik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Sel dan Jaringan Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sari buah dengen dengan konsentrasi 100% memiliki diameter zona hambat terbesar yaitu 4,20 mm dengan indeks penghambatan 6,00 mm. Selanjutnya konsentrasi 75% dengan diameter zona hambat terkecil yaitu 1,87 mm dengan indeks penghambatan yaitu 2,11 mm. Diameter zona hambat pada konsentrasi 50% yaitu sebesar 1,93 dengan indeks penghambatan yaitu 2,22 mm. Hasil analisis variansi (ANOVA) dengan p>5% menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi sari buah dengen (Dillenia serrata) berpengaruh nyata terhadap daya hambat bakteri Escherichia coli dengan konsentrasi penghambatan tertinggi adalah konsentrasi 100%.
